In order to continue to improve communication among Reiners, Reining Canada is
sending the follow Q&A eNewsletter. Reining Canada has received some good
questions from its members and it would like to share its answers with all
stakeholders to provide clarity on its future direction.

Question from Members:
Will Reining Canada reduce the RC membership fee? The consensus here is
that it is far too high for the services provided and needs to be
reduced to something much more reasonable.
Answer from Reining Canada:
In light of the current economic situation RC is reviewing the costs of
membership for Canadian Reiners. As part of RC's review of its
membership fee for 2010, RC will be polling all of the Canadian
Affiliates to confirm what services and programs they would like to see
RC offer (which will drive the computation of RC's membership cost). For
2009 RC's portion of the $175.00 has been between $55.00 and $60.00
depending on the USD exchange rate. RC hopes to reduce membership costs
with the Affiliates' input.

Question from Members:
Will Reining Canada provide a written commitment that all Canadian NRHA members
will have the opportunity to elect the Canadian NRHA Board Members?
Answer from Reining
Canada: RC would like to confirm all NRHA
members in Canada will be allowed to participate in the election process and
vote on the 2 directors for the NRHA board. This process will be clearly
documented and members will be notified well in advance of the voting deadlines.

Question from Members:
Will Reining Canada commit to rebate portion of Membership Fee back to
Affiliates?
Answer from Reining Canada:
As mentioned in the question regarding RC membership fee, the Affiliates will
have direct input into what services are offered and what the membership fee
will be. Commitment to a rebate is not possible without confirming what services
and programs will be.

Question fro m
Members: Reining Canada should track Affiliate Points for the NAAC
Program.
Answer from Reining Canada:
Reining Canada is very reluctant to add another process to an already cumbersome
reporting process. NRHA requests all show results get sent to their office and
the NRHA imposes deadlines which show committees must adhere to. The NRHA would
prefer NAA's to not interfere with the process as it adds delays. In addition,
Reining Canada has solicited the Canadian Affiliates numerous times and the
consensus was the Canadian Affiliates felt it was important to retain control
over the tracking of their member's points.
Reining Canada believes that once the new computer technology
is integrated at the NRHA Office this process will be expedited.

Question from Members:
Can Reining Canada take steps to act as a more effective liaison between
Affiliates, NRHA and EC?
Answer from Reining Canada:
RC is very willing to be part of the solution to provide effective communication
between both EC and NRHA. RC believes it has proven this aptitude numerous times
during 2009 including, attendance at the NRHA Convention, the EC Annual Meeting,
Town Hall meetings etc...
