Don't understand all the benefits of having a Reining Canada Membership?
Reining Canada offers numerous benefits some of which are not obvious. To that end Reining Canada has compiled a comprehensive list of the services and benefits offered. The complete list is available on the Reining Canada website.
Some of the great benefits included with your Reining Canada memberships include:

  • Reining Canada has a nationally elected Board comprised of Directors from areas across Canada (BC, AB, Sask, MB, ON, and QC).

  • Reining Canada provides two Directors as a National Body to sit on the NRHA Board of Directors.

  • Reining Canada collects and maintains information on Canadian Reining Membership.

  • Reining Canada provides authorization letters for showing documentation and associated liaison with NRHA.

  • Reining Canada tracks Canadian NRHA Earnings, Top Ten Standings and Awards.

  • Reining Canada sends regular eNewsletters sent to all Reiners - keeping everyone aware of ongoing news topics.

  • Reining Canada maintains a website to promote Affiliate Circuits, Canadian Programs and Canadian Reiners and Trainers of Distinction. Website with important information offered in both English and French.

  • Reining Canada meets periodically with Equine Canada the National Federation.

  • Reining Canada Sport Incentive Program "SPIN" - Affiliate Shows, Circuits and New Membership Rebate.

  • Reining Canada Education and Development Program - Show Management and Judges Seminars rebates.

  • Reining Canada Beginner Program - Offer beginner rider program complete with tracking of points and Year End Awards.

  • Reining Canada offers major sponsorship incentives to all Canadian Members - i.e.: Marks Work Wearhouse and Francois Gauthier Collection. If members use these incentives, their membership could cost them nothing.

  • Reining Canada Reiner of the Year Program.

  • Reining Canada Affiliate Support Network - Conference Calls, Review of NRHA policies, rules and show changes.

  • Reining Canada Affiliates can post their important information, circuits, shows, and upcoming events on the Reining Canada website.

  • Reining Canada Affiliate Finals Coordination - Assist the Affiliates with the Canadian Regional Affiliate Finals, ensure Affiliates are hosting circuits in each region.

  • North American Affiliate Finals Coordination - Assist Affiliates and Riders with programs NRHA offers to ride in Oklahoma City.

  • Breeds and Industry Funding - Coordinate Canadian Bred Horse Program to ensure riders that compete international have access to funding offered by Canadian Government.

  • International Committee - Provides information to all riders for International Programs.

  • Reining Canada assists Youth Teams to the International Competitions.

  • Reining Canada Board members coordinate funding for special projects; i.e.: Young Rider Teams, International teams, etc. Reining Canada has not taken any funds from the membership dollars to pay for the International programs.

  • Reining Canada coordinates and hosts the Reining Canada Hospitality Suite at the Futurity.

Office Administrator - Resumes due by May 29, 2009

Reining Canada, A National Equestrian Association, requires an office administrator. Must be able to run business out of your home. All equipment supplied. The candidate must be capable of multi-tasking, and have great organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Candidate must be able to use excel and Quick Books. Financial background an asset.
Salary - $30,000.00 / year

Reining Canada Welcomes a New Director at Large

Reining Canada would like to welcome Holly MacDonald who has agreed to sit in one of the open Director at Large positions for the remainder of 2009. Holly will help round out the Board of Directors with her extensive reining experiences as well as regional representation from the Maritimes. Welcome Holly!
